Ingredients:
- 200 grams paneer (cottage cheese), cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
- 2-3 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 capsicum (bell pepper), cut into cubes
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat the oil in a kadai or a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and sauté until fragrant.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
- Add ginger paste, garlic paste, and green chilies and sauté for a minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
- Add coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add capsicum (bell pepper) and paneer cubes. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add garam masala powder and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
