Spinach Soup/Palak Soup

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 lb fresh spinach, washed and trimmed
  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • Freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish
